Physical Description
Unusually intact octahedral franklinite crystal from Buckwheat Pit.
$250 if slight manganese stain is removed.
Use equal parts white vinegar and hydrogen peroxide, or contact Earl to purchase proprietary cleaning mixture from a New Jersey chemist. The vinegar-H2O2 mixture will slowly dissolve calcite and should be used with that in mind. A different solution prepared by Warren Miller does not, but its exact composition is known only to Warren.
