Highly unusual 1.5-cm vein of fluorite cutting ore. Rare to see a vein of essentially pure fluorite in ore, but the entire region contains small occurrences of Mississippi-Valley-type minerals (low-T hydrothermal, with galena, sphalerite, barite, fluorite, etc.), and these are found in the Franklin and Sterling Hill mines as well as in the local quarries.
