Physical Description
Good example of Buckwheat dolomite assemblage, vuggy. Contains sphalerite. The Buckwheat dolomite was a large but local body of rock of uncertain origin adjacent to the Buckwheat pit at Franklin. It was of interest to scientists for its diverse assemblage of small but well-crystallized minerals in vugs, and proved popular among collectors for the same reason.
