Physical Description
White, porcelain-like roeblingite forms the core of this nodiform specimen and is surrounded by a brownish pink “altered hancockite” matrix. The matrix possibly contains feldspars, hendricksite, andradite, and calcite. Several 1.5 – 3 cm damaged and etched crystals of andradite are present on the bottom surface of the specimen. The specimen is a rough half-nodule and measures approximately 8 x 7 x 6 cm.
