Type locality for both leucophoenicite and sussexite
Physical Description
Massive brownish-pink leucophoenicite grading upward into a druse of many dark, brownish-red, very well-formed, free-standing leucophoenicite crystals. In some places these crystals are free of later coatings, but over most of the specimen, thin felted masses of sussexite overcoat the crystals. A fine example of rare leucophoenicite crystals; most is massive.
